§ 03 Decision: Delivery Logistics Standards

Will it even
Get there?

Narrow lanes, soft ground, low branches — we plan for it. Most rural properties can receive a container, but you need to know the clearance requirements before you buy.

How Containers Are Delivered

The delivery method depends on your property access. A 65-foot truck combination needs room to maneuver.

Tilt-Bed Truck

The Farm Standard

The truck tilts its bed and slides the container off onto the ground. Requires 100+ feet of straight approach.

→ Best for clear driveways

Crane-Set

Tight Access Solution

A separate crane lifts the container into place. Solves sharp turns, fencelines, or soft ground issues.

→ Mike · rural access

The Quick Clearance Checklist

  • Width: 12 feet minimum clearance.
  • Height: 14 feet overhead (branches/wires).
  • Ground: Must support a 30,000 lb truck.
